Power BI For Everyone is responsible for the personal data processing described in this policy and acts as the data controller where applicable.

Information you provide

• Contact data: name, email address, telephone number, company, billing address, and similar details you choose to provide.
• Account and purchase data: products purchased, order identifiers, transaction status, account access, and delivery records.
• Communications: messages, support requests, feedback, testimonials submitted with permission, and attachments you send.
• Academy information: enrolment, participation, progress, questions, and community activity where those features are used.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, device and browser type, language, approximate location derived from IP, referring pages, timestamps, pages viewed, and interaction data.
• Cookie identifiers and similar technologies used for essential functions, preferences, analytics, security, or advertising where enabled.

Please do not send sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for a specific request and we have asked you to provide it.

Where processing relies on legitimate interests, we consider whether those interests are overridden by your rights and reasonable expectations.

• Website hosting, checkout, payment, email delivery, analytics, customer support, community, and course-platform providers acting on our behalf.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, legal advisers, or insurers where necessary.
• Authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• A buyer or successor if the business or relevant assets are reorganized, sold, or transferred, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers are expected to use personal data only for the contracted service and to protect it appropriately.

Some service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are supported by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

• Account and academy records are generally retained while the service or access remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link included in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential communications about purchases, account access, security, or support requests.

The website and digital products are intended for professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so the situation can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

This policy may be updated when services, providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will show when the latest revision took effect. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
